Cinder was supposed to care for this one. He was last seen heading enthusiastically toward something that absolutely wasn’t his business, and the story went with him. It could be under a mossy stump, behind a memory that hasn’t happened yet, or halfway through being mistaken for a snack. I’m choosing to believe he’s taking very good care of it.

Don’t worry. He’ll come back eventually, carrying the story, three interesting rocks, and an explanation that raises more questions than answers.
